So this past Monday was soooo bad. And Wednesday kinda wasn't the best day either. But this weekend was fun cuz yesterday was Mark and Lizzy's Excellent Adventure for their Bachelor/Bachelorette party. We did like a crazy scavenger hunt (very MouseAdventure-esque) around Irvine, South Coast area and went from the UCI Mesa Court dorms, to the Lab, to Best Buy/Chili's/7-11 and then back to Irvine Spectrum, which was our original meeting place.Yay! I really hope we beat the guys (it was a battle of the sexes), cuz the losing team has to serenade the couple at the wedding reception. Hahaha...
I'm excited about only working 4 days this week...and then leaving for Chicago on Friday. From there, we get on a plane to London, then we take a trip to Paris!!!! I really need a vacation from work and everything, so this is something I've definitely been looking forward to. Pictures to come....

I must literally THANK GOD for getting me through Monday.
I was supposed to have a series of at least seven intense patients today, but with the rain, it being President's day, and people just plain forgetting, only half showed up.
I know it's because I was praying about it and asking God to give me only what I can handle, and He truly listened.
Sure, I'll eventually have to see these patients on another day, in my line of work we can't really have them just cancel and not come back, but the visits can wait.
Therefore, I know he is definitely listening, and I totally wanna say "Good looking out."
I appreciate that He is there to guide me through the rainy days, and bless me with the sunny ones thereafter.
I know how truly blessed I am....and I really cannot complain.

2009 has been interesting thus far....
January flew by and today it's already Valentine's Day. Had a wonderfully comfortable dinner with Jonathan at the simple, yet chic Cheesecake Factory. Yumm...
I can't believe that Lizzy and Mark are getting married in a few weeks and before that I'm leaving for Europe.
So much to do before then, but I really can't wait!
March will be crazy busy but then April I will have the house to myself (ahhh... peace and quiet) while my parents are in the Philippines.
Now if I can just get through work on the weekdays. I LIVE for the weekends. Haha.
Gotta rest the weary eyes now. =)
